ARS*Rescue Rooter is looking for an individual to manage a 5 million dollar service operation in St. Louis, Missouri. This person must possess strong business acumen, excels in training, and has the ability to lead and motivate people to success.

Responisbilities (but not limited to):

Manages all operations within the Service Center in support of effective and timely, HVAC, appliance and electrical installation, plumbing and sewer service and repair. Responsible for all financial aspects of the business including full P&L responsibility, budgeting and meeting financial goals and objectives.

  • Manages and develops service center operations staff including the hiring, termination and disciplining of employees, setting work priorities and conducting staff meetings.
  • Develops and implements operational plans to achieve profit and growth goals, oversees the budget and maintains control over expenditures.
  • Develops forecasts for sales growth, market mix and profitability with plans to meet such forecasts.
  • Establishes goals for sales staff and assists in the development of advertising strategies.
  • Oversees daily operations to ensure proper procedures and guidelines are in place.
  • Resolves customer issues and/or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reviews and promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration preferred or a High School Diploma or equivalent is required with 6-8 years of experience in service operations management in the primary business of the service center. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • A proven track record of financial success
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electricity and air flow are required.
  • Trade license is desired.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of local codes and general industry standards.
  • Strong management, communications, computer and mathematical skills are required.
