Exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Agile Development Team implementing and integrating SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and OLAP (Online Analytic Processing) reporting solutions. Seeking an experienced, hands on and results driven Senior Software Engineer to perform the following:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop EDA (Event Driven Architecture) and SOA-based business and data services using industry best practices.
  • Use business process management (BPM) orchestration tools to construct composite services and workflows.
  • Engage with business analysts, data analysts, application developers and solution architects to translate business and technical requirements into scalable and repeatable middleware solutions.
  • Participate in and lead design and code reviews to ensure quality and integrity of project deliverables.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Escalates critical issues to management and is able to help solve identified problems.
  • Conduct performance tuning and load testing.
  • Author and contribute to technical design documentation.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of EDA, SOA and BPM
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Can design and create a vision for a solution then translate that solution into a system design specification.
  • Demonstrates capacity for learning quickly and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or technical equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience, healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE, JavaScript and web service development.

Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies:

  • Oracle/BEA Fusion Middleware including OSB, BPM, Registry and Rules Engine
  • WebLogic Application Server
  • Oracle Web Service Manager
  • Java/J2EE
  • Oracle Database
  • Visio
  • Previous experience participating on an Agile SCRUM Team is a plus.
