SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the continued development, creation, implementation and maintenance of UT Medical Group, Inc.’s website (external, physician and employee.) Ensures that the UTMG site meets the business needs of UTMG as well as links with and meets the needs of targeted patients, care givers, purchasers and referring physicians.

¨ Web lay-out/design

¨ Web copy

¨ Web maintenance

¨ Web architecture

¨ Web strategy

¨ Web security

¨ Web metrics (Monitors the web traffic)

¨ Web content review

¨ Vendor and customer relationships

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

¨ A minimum of three years experience in website development with a bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university, or five or more years of progressive experience in website development without a degree.

¨ Proficient in Dreamweaver, CS3 and SEO. Knowledge of and ability to use HTML, Go Live, cold fusion, JavaScript and CGI scripts for applications like forms and drop-down menus are a big plus

¨ Excellent design skills

¨ Excellent written and oral communication skills

¨ Ability to remain current in market trends, new business directions and emerging technologies as they relate to the web with a strategic understanding of the internet marketplace.

¨ Ability to prioritize and multitask

¨ Marketing experience is preferred but not required

¨ Knowledge of the local medical market a plus

¨ Familiarity with medical terminology helpful

¨ Ability to get along with others and act as a team player
