Local cemetery is seeking to hire a grounds and maintenance employee. Most all work will require working outdoors in all seasons and includes mowing, weed eating, landscape maintenance, snow removal, opening and closing graves, installing grave markers, etc. The ability to operate equipment like a backhoe and tractor is a plus! Applicant must have an insurable driving record and be willing to submit to a drug screening and a background check. Also, they must be physically able to lift heavy items. This job also requires being "on-call" to work every other weekend as needed. Work hours are Monday Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and some weekend overtime. Starting hourly rate is $9.25 and includes paid vacation after one year of employment, 4 personal days a year, sick pay, health and dental insurance plus 401K Retirement Plan.
