RETAIL AREA MANAGER We are a hair care distributor servicing chain drug and grocery stores. We cover ALL aspects of product merchandising: writing orders, returns, new item cut-ins, shelf tag maintenance, resets, new planogram sets. You must be able to show that you have a very strong background in merchandising and management. We are now interviewing for the position of Area Manager in the state of Rhode Island. Based out of your home office, your time will be split between office and field work each week. Duties include: Managing a field staff of part-time merchandisers. Ensuring each store account is serviced on time and correctly. Coordinating service, resets and new store set-ups. Working in the stores with your reps to coach them as you help them develop their job skills. Previous experience with handheld devices a plus. Need to have some experience with MS Word and Excel. Making personnel decisions and administrative duties. This is a Full Time salaried position. Must be able to travel. Monthly expense account includes mileage. Benefits package starts after 90 days.
