The Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator primarily supervises or serves as a member of an early warning team. The duties of an Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator include detecting, tracking, and identifying aircraft; broadcasting early warning information; and performing other operations and intelligence duties in Air Defense units. Through training and practice in this specialty, you will develop technical skills and qualities that are in demand by today’s employers; those qualities include leadership, discipline, and courage.
