Performs technical. Functions, such as evaluating health records and reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling, interpreting, and utilizing hospital health care statistics; coding, diseases, and operations according to recognized classification system; processing claims; abstracting and retrieving medical information. Maintains information consistent with the Medical, administrative, legal, accreditation and regulatory requirements of a health care delivery system. Analyze and utilize medical record science and apply knowledge to various health care Delivery systems and utilize appropriate medical language and abbreviations. Demonstrate ability to abstract information from various sources and utilize various Coding classification systems appropriately and apply effective application of legal and Ethical standards of practice. Collect, process, generate and maintain medical information needed by health care organization which includes gathering statistical reporting information on daily, weekly and Monthly basis. Process claims associated with review upon research of data completion.
