The Contact Lens Technician provides quality customer service in processing contact lens transactions including training customers on insertion and removal of contact lenses.


Job Description:



  • Set standards and model behavior for optimum customer service.
  • Educate customers on the contact lens products that have been prescribed by the Doctor of Optometry.
  • Process the order into the POS system, check in contact lens orders and contact the customer for pick-up.
  • Instruct new contact lens wearers on how to insert, remove and care for their new contact lenses.



  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Must accurately transcribe words and numbers.
  • Must have high level of patience.
