Providence is calling Dietary Workers
A Dietary Worker performs kitchen and cafeteria tasks such as cleaning and washing work areas, equipment and kitchen ware; assembling and serving food, and/or cashiering in an assigned work area. Work areas include, but are not limited to; trayline, carts, dishroom, pots and pans, staple supplies, hotside, coldside, catering and cafeteria.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington. This is an on call, variable shift position. All candidates hired into a position posted as 20 hrs/wk or more qualify for benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school education or the equivalent (GED or four years of work experience will substitute for the high school diploma).
Licenses/Certifications: Food Service Worker's permit (State Board of Health Rules & Regulation, Chapter 197 Law of 1959 State of Washington)
Experience: Food service experience is preferred. Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English is required. Proficiency in basic math skills required.
