KEY EXPERIENCE: Data Warehouse Mgr, Data Warehouse, Data Stewards, Banking, CDR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will have responsibility for managing the system and technical staff that provides data for operational reporting and analytics throughout the client. Core responsibilities: Effectively grow, manage and lead a data warehouse development and Data Stewart teams. Leverage various teams and resources as necessary to maximize efficiency. Establish governance and policies, standardizing data naming, establish consistent data definitions, and monitoring/auditing procedures for overall enterprise data quality in conjunction with the data governance steering committee. Build relationships with internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives Maintain and prioritize work queues for technical staff. Maintain relationship with software vendor Fiserv CCS Insure daily balancing processes are completed Insure CDR software is updated to current levels Prepare and test CDR Disaster Recovery system procedures. Qualifications: 3-5 years of Banking industry experience Multiple years experience in management over Data Warehouse initiatives managing technical teams with an ongoing desire to be hands-on driving project execution. Experience leading a data warehouse development team and building design/development processes with previous hands on experience as a Software Engineer or Data Warehouse Developer preferred Experience with all phases of software product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering Functional Skills: Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills as well as ability to write proposals, technical documents. Utilize common productivity tools and documentation skills Demonstrate problem identification and resolution. Create and document processes and procedures.
