Position Description: The Project Manager / Senior Engineer – Facilities has overall responsibility for planning, supervision and quality control of maintenance and custodial functions of the Marvell campus and other company facilities as needed. Major Goals: 1) Daily business operations - develops and supervises all aspects of campus building operations including all maintenance, repairs, and renovations through the development of project plans, requests for proposals, participation in the service vendor qualification process, development and tracking of performance milestones, quality control and final completion reviews. • Coordinates and administers the condition of buildings, equipment and grounds, and recommends improvements in the facilities to ensure that company and workforce needs are achieved. • Supervises and coordinates the maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment including HVAC systems, electric motors, pumps, ventilating fans, air conditioning and power control units. 2) Project management - compiles and establishes criteria for assessing the quality of work performed contractors, vendors and suppliers and supervises the completion of work through review of reports; frequent site inspections; and conferences with end users, business partners and interaction with all levels of company management. • Participates in the screening and hiring of maintenance staff, trains, supervises and evaluates performance. • Continuously identifies and tracks all vendor, contractors and personal performance related metrics to track performance, document savings and ensure cost efficiencies. 3) Customer service - receive and respond to a wide variety of 24 x 7 internal end user customer service requests including, but not limited to immediate and ongoing service support needs and operational requirements; in support of workforce productivity and satisfaction. • Coordinates and participates in response to emergencies such as fires, bomb threats, disturbances or building evacuations. • Upon completion of all service requests, ensures customer follow-up via the help desk process to receive feedback on task completion. 4) Business approach – Conduct all business operations and tasks with a focus on total quality, sense of urgency and teamwork to ensure the provision of best in class services, initiatives and work product. • Perform daily tasks with a positive approach, always work efficiently and economically; and strive to enjoy one's self during the business day. • Work cooperatively with co-workers and business partners to ensure team and company success. Qualifications: Facilities & infrastructure project management & facilities engineering experience - 15 + years Successful management of diverse facilities team (employees, contractors & vendors) at hi-tech HQ site - 10 + years Teamwork, leadership & management presentation skills - 10 + years Apply Only at : Marvell Semiconductor
