District 19 CSB offers a challenging MH Therapist/Case Manager position primarily located in Emporia, VA. Position primarily provides direct supervision to Children Services Case Managers in nine D19 localities, and direct case management and/or outreach services to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities. Essential job duties of this position include: administrative and clinical supervision to CCPS case management staff, assessment and planning services to include coordinating services and treatment planning with other agencies and providers; monitoring psychotropic medications; level of functioning, crisis and behavioral interventions, and carries a small case management caseload.

Successful applicant must have: Master’s degree in human services, qualifications which meet Medicaid definition for Qualified Mental Health Case Manager (QMHCM), qualifications for Certified Pre-Screener (CP) in Virginia, a minimum of two years supervisory experience in human services, experience in clinical services in a multicultural community setting, and valid Virginia Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Starting salary commensurate with experience/training. Excellent benefits include paid sick, annual, and birthday leave, Virginia Retirement System, and group health insurance. A flexible work schedule is possible in some positions.

Position above requires valid VA Driver's License with acceptable motor vehicle record, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
