Senior Developer with extensive Energy Trading Experience: Talon

Our client, located in the Lehigh Valley area is seeking a Senior Developer with a strong Energy Background for an immediate contract position. Details include:

-Our client is interested in a candidate with experience in supporting and developing applications related to Energy Marketing and Trading.

-Some of the tools and skill set that would be beneficial would be knowledge of .Net / Visual Studio, Informatica, webMethods, Oracle (DB) and some of the vendor applications they support are Zai*Net (Trading & Risk Management System), Fuelworx (physical management for coal & oil), Rome (Credit Mgmt system), OATI webTrader (deal capture and transmission reservation), nMarket (ISO settlements).

-Our client also has in-house written and supported applications for deal capture for power and gas as well as gas scheduling, so knowledge of the energy trading business and its instruments and products would be beneficial (power, gas, fuel, capacity, physical, financial, emission, REC (renewable energy credit), etc.)
