Principal Automation Designer

We are a leading solutions provider to the medical device industry and are seeking an automation expert. The main role of this position will be to plan and design systems for ultra precision fixtures, semi-automated and high volume automated assembly. Candidate must possess and apply comprehensive technical knowledge of machine design engineering principles, practices and procedures. Must be able to determine needs, perform and lead detailed engineering design activities required to deliver functional machine solutions.



· Bachelors degree in ME or EE preferred.


· Minimum of 5 years experience in machine design and development.


· Solid background in manufacturing and precision machining.


· Extensive CAD knowledge, PRO/E preferred.


· Knowledge of injection molds and molding highly desirable.


· Medical device experience preferred.

Position is located in New Richmond, WI
