Description:

Lexington Insurance company, a Chartis company, has an opportunity in its Property Department for a Product Line Manager.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Provide Home Office direction and approval on all new and renewal business for the Energy/Manufacturing Product Line.

Manage production and profitability objectives for the Lexington Energy/Manufacturing Portfolio and report results to Lexington Sr. Management.

Develop relationships with all Lexington field office key management and staff, and support in training, account consultations, account prospecting, broker calls, client visits and other activities, as needed.

Visit key customers.

Conduct internal Lexington field office quality audits.

Coordinate with other Lexington units such as claims, actuarial, legal, and marketing and others as needed.

Oversee facultative placements on new and existing business.

Monitor and control CAT aggregates.

Maintain a monthly bordereau and activity logs.

Make internal and external presentations as necessary.

Position Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of ten years of progressive Technical (Energy/Manufacturing) underwriting experience, with at least five years in a field management position or HO referral role.

Ability to make quick decisions and adhere to sound underwriting discipline in a production orientated environment.

Ability to interact in and outside the office and successfully build relationships with staff, clients and brokers.

Ability for overnight travel as needed.

Computer skills in Excel, Word and email.
