A strong individual contributor who can contribute to speed to market and reduced development lead times by collaborating with customers and suppliers of R&D to apply supply chain practices to the R&D Process.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops feasible/optimized resource plan to support a multi-year R&D portfolio by accounting for all critical resources, including people and machines.
2. Works with Project Leaders to accurately capture Gantt Charts with dependencies, resource assignments and milestones for projects in the R&D Portfolio.
3. Validates, monitors and updates Gantt Charts on a regular basis to ensure updated activity timing and resource consumption levels.
4. Facilitates weekly/monthly meetings with R&D community to ensure commitment to operational/tactical plans.
5. Monitors resource allocation and determines resource utilization and over utilization for an 18-month rolling window.
6. Develops what-if scenarios to support project level decision making.
7. Captures proposals for new projects and project changes and incorporates them into 18-month rolling activity plan.
8. Provides analysis and develops what-if scenarios for resource loading to determine the optimal mix and sequencing of R&D Projects to achieve the organization's overall goals.
9. Performs capacity requirements analysis and maintains capacity models.
10. Establishes units of measure to forecast demand and captures consumption in an environment that has many variables and large degrees of uncertainty and imprecision.
11. Works with counterparts in Europe and Asia to facilitate global R & D Supply Chain practices.

10. Must have strong written, presentation, and oral communications skills.
11. Excellent skills with MS Office Suite.
12. Project management experience is a plus.
13. Exposure/Experience with New Product Development processes is a plus.
14. French language skills are a plus.
