Responsible for the Process Data Acquisition & Recoding (PDAR) hardware and software at plant.



Configure and monitor communication and collection applications for 24/7 availability. Configure and monitor Rockwell RSLINX and RSSQL communications software. Administer the Oracle database by normalizing data, creating datafiles, tables, procedures and triggers, backup and recovery. Develop and maintain the forms and reports as specified by other departments and agencies. Perform database upgrades, tuning and troubleshooting. Administer the operating system and create accounts for users, groups and domains. Develop and maintain web-based applications for users. Review and diagnose the computer hardware and software for malfunctions/problems and devise improvements to alleviate them. Support acceptance testing data collection and analysis.

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS

BS in Engineering or Computer Science with concentration in software and computers or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum one year experience (Grade 11) working with the hardware and software of Data Acquisition Systems utilizing Rockwell RSLINX,RSSQL, or SQL Script.

Proficient in PC applications (Word, Excel and Access).

Proficient in Oracle Database Management and SQL.

Proficient in Visual Basic, Java, ASP, ASPX or C/C++/C#.

Proficient in PC operating systems and networking systems (Windows Server2003, Local Area Network).

Must be U.S. or Naturalized citizen.

Experience in a toxic/hazardous environment desired.
