Position Description:
Research Technician - Solid Formulation Development KV Pharmaceutical seeks a Research Technician – Solid Formulation Development. The successful candidate will assist formulators in developing solid pharmaceutical oral dosage forms including both immediate release and controlled release products. Responsibilities include conducting pre-formulation studies, formulation development works, and in-process physical testing of generic and branded products. The incumbent will perform equipment setup, equipment cleaning, and manufacturing of development batches from lab scale to full production scale providing support of products during technical transfer. If you enjoy assisting in technology transfer from R&D to process development and product and can perform physical testing of developmental batches, this may be the position for you. Writing product development reports and other documentation will be required. We are seeking individuals with knowledge of pharmaceutical ingredients, manufacturing processing equipment, and testing equipment. MS Office and computer skills required. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent in work experience and 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, QA/QC or product development.
