Manufacturing Engineer



General Manufacturing Engr: Honeywell International, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer at our Pottsville, PA facility. This position is responsible for improving the baseline value of key area metrics (yield, quality, capacity, attainment) toward entitlement values through individual and team contributions. Other duties include monitoring raw materials usage in the area using SAP, development of long-term solutions to eliminate reoccurring area process problems, development of process packages to support capital projects. This position is also responsible for area PHA's & management of change and accountable for supporting HOS initiatives & improvement teams. Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Eng, Mechanical Eng, Physical Sciences, Polymer Science orrel field + 2 years experience in the job offered or rel occupation. Experience must include production or process engineering in the BOPA film manufacturing processes with 2 years SAP knowledge. Candidates will posses Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification; and additional plastic film extrusion or related converting activities.
