Job Description

Position Profile
The Manager, AEHR Training and Development is responsible for the overall performance of a Ambulatory Electronic Health Record Training team, including financial and operational performance, service excellence and internal communications. Reporting to the Administrative Director, the AEHR Training Manager will work to support the training needs for the AEHR implementation and ongoing training of the Allscripts AEHR product, including ongoing workflow assessment to ensure appropriate utilization of the AEHR following implementation. Responsible for developing material, training programs and evaluating current and new programs to enhance the operational efficiency for the Scripps Medical Foundation clinics as it relates to the AEHR. Responsible for managing the AEHR Trainers in their day to day functions and in developing the curriculum for the AEHR training team. Makes recommendations for operational efficiency opportunities when utilizing and implementing software and operational systems.

Basic Qualifications (required)
Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent, relevant work experience in healthcare management.

Minimum Qualifications (required)
3-5 years experience in Clinic operations in a management capacity or management of training systems/programs. Specific skills/experience in developing specialized training materials and programs. Experience with training techniques, development of materials, and previous management experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Ambulatory Electronic Health Record systems, other IS systems, project management techniques and healthcare experience preferred.
