RESPONSIBILITIES
The position reports to the Senior Business Leader in Compliance responsible for the Compliance Risk Assessment & Validation at Visa Inc. The candidate will assist in strengthening of Compliance Department Procedures, Compliance Risk Assessment & Validation Program in line with Legal and Regulatory requirements by collaborating with various Policy / Program Owners, Compliance and Risk teams and other business units within Visa Inc.
As a Business Leader, the incumbent has responsibility for:
- Develop & Execute Compliance Validation Programs
- Develop & Support the GRC solution to automate Compliance Risk Assessment, Validation & Mitigation processes
- Support Program Owners in development and review of new Compliance Policies
- Provide Compliance support in roll out of new Compliance Policies
- Provide Compliance support in transitioning Policies from Compliance to the appropriate business functions
- Develop and support process for the identification and integration of Compliance related requirements for special projects such as Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions
- Support management and board related reporting activities
- Provide ongoing support on cross functional initiatives such as oversight and review of Entity Level Controls
- Assist in the phases identified for Compliance Risk Assessment by working with the Program Owners and Compliance Liaisons
- Organize workshops and guide Business Functions as needed with the Compliance Risk Assessment and Validation Methodology
- Assist Program Owners with the identification and execution of Mitigation Plans and Issues Management
- Assist in tracking and reporting of Compliance Risk Assessments, Validation & Mitigation Activities, including timely completion, documentation, report generation etc.
- Develop and enhance Compliance performance indicators by using a bench marking and/or baseline approach
- Serve as a Compliance Liaison for the Compliance Risk Assessment, Validation & Mitigation with Program Owners while staying abreast of Company business strategies
- Create Management reports for Executive Leadership with an objective viewpoint on the observations and propose recommendations
- Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills

- Support Compliance team's strategic operating plan by being a self starter and Compliance evangelist
REQUIREMENTS

- Detailed, timely and accurate reporting of projects and ongoing deliverables, inclusive of reporting to executive management (CRC, ARC and BOD)

- Excellent knowledge of Legal and Regulatory requirements for Payment Card Industry and a Public Company
- Significant experience in evaluating the Policies / Programs associated with complex business and IT systems process
- Demonstrated experience executing risk assessments & validation efforts within a complex operational and regulatory environment
- 4-6 years of Compliance, Governance, Internal Audit or Audit experience, preferably with a large financial institution or Big 4 Accounting / Consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Management of Information Systems or related field
- CIA, CISA, CISM or other relevant professional certification highly desired
