Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
We are looking for quality, compassionate CNAs for the following locations:
Eskaton Care Center Greenhaven, Sacramento, CA (FT, NOC SHIFT)
Eskaton Care Center Manzanita, Carmichael, CA (OC, NOC SHIFT)
Eskaton Care Center Fair Oaks, Fair Oaks, CA (OC, Varied Shifts)
The CNA provides personal care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to residents, as example,
- Provides or assists in bathing or showering of residents
- Makes beds, straightens rooms and keeps resident care areas in an organized manner
- Assists residents in dressing when needed and demonstrates concern for individual privacy while providing resident care
- Provides safe resident transfer involving bed, wheelchair, chair and/or shower chair
- Demonstrates ability to provide oral care, shaving, and toileting in a safe and thorough manner
- Takes and records temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration's as required
- Collects specimens as directed
- Accurately documents care given to residents including the documentation of reportable resident problems (i.e., ADL sheets, B & B sheets, meal percentages, I & O's, etc.)

Requirements
- Valid, current California Certified Nurse Assistant certification
- 6 months experience in providing personal care in a long term care facility preferred
- Must have knowledge in performing personal care services in a skilled nursing facility and have the ability to meet new and/or stressful situations with appropriate responses, to work effectively as part of a healthcare team and to share information freely within that team
- Must be able to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing and to follow both verbal and written instructions in English.
