Automotive, Materials Manager, Manufacturing Experience



JOB SUMMARY:

Direct plant scheduling to meet customer requirements and delivery dates. Direct warehouse/shipping to assure optimal use of department resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the scheduling of orders to provide the most cost efficient production that meets customer requirements.

Oversee the warehousing, shipping and delivery of products and departmental goals.

Participate as member of the plant staff and contribute to the establishment of plant goals and policies.

Direct contact with sales and Corporate on issues regarding customer problems or enhancements to service programs.

Direct the scheduling and receiving of all raw batch materials coming into the plant.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

5-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment, including work in production control, purchasing and shipping, supervising or management experience required.

Computer literate, good verbal, written and listening skills are necessary.
