RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Establishes and maintains high-level relationships with business decision makers (C-level executives) at major corporations with multiple locations within a specific industry.

- Assists other National Account Executive’s to work through the sales process in opportunities that are designated strategic by the V.P. of Sales to increase the close ratio’s of these strategic accounts.

- Can sell at the fortune 1000 level and above

- Secures new accounts while managing and growing sales revenue of existing key accounts.

- Prepares proposals and contracts to present to decision makers.

- Investigates competitor products, promotions, and sales strategies.

- Has a complete understanding of pricing and overall marketing practices.

- Conducts sales calls to follow-up on all accounts to ensure satisfaction with all agreements made during sales process.

- Demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise of all aspects of voice and data products.

- Understands billing, rate structures, and pricing models.

- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Forecasts activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Frequent overnight travel required by air and/or automobile at least 4 nights per week.
  • Bachelor Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 7 years outside sales experience in selling sales of Services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with solutions selling and hunting for business on a national level.
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Prior experience networking at the C-level within an industry vertical is required.
  • Must have a proven ability to listen effectively and possess effective customer communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels within an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a sensitivity to understand customer needs and business issues.
