Job Summary and Mission Responsible for building and assembling server racks in an ESD production environment interpreting and utilizing mechanical drawings, schematics, technical data and hand tools. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Build and assemble server racks in an ESD production environment interpreting and utilizing mechanical drawings, schematics/blueprints, technical data and hand tools.
- Ensure work is accurate and in accordance with mechanical drawings, schematics/blueprints and technical data.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient operations and prevent unnecessary delays in production.
- Provide excellent customer service to customer representatives.
- Determine customer requirements and establish effective processes to ensure requirements are met.
- Exhibit a flexible attitude, arrive on time for scheduled shift and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Summary of Experience and Education Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Possess mechanical & electronic assembly skills
- Proficiency in wiring and cabling of electronic components
- Ability to operate hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret documents and schematics and write routine correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurement.
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities, and exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views.
