Sr. RF Test & Tune Tech
Job Description:
• Test & tune complex RF assemblies from component to top assembly. Wedge & ball bond .7 mil or 1 mil. Gold wire & gap weld 5-10 mil. Gold ribbon on flight assemblies preferred • Conduct electrical tests & analysis using engineering and scientific measuring equipment. Keep detailed records of tests & test data • Assist in developing test plans & prepare instructions for proper performance of engineering tests • Select & set up test equipment to perform testing as directed by Test Procedures or engineering personnel • Maintain standard test equipment • Prepare test results for engineering review • Use computer based software for testing of flight hardware • Complete & maintain training necessary to work on flight hardware • Perform required tests in compliance with Company quality & engineering standards • Report to Section Manager any non-conformance, variation, or damage to flight hardware • Provide function guidance to less experienced personnel Requires: • High School or equivalent, 2 years Tech Training required. AS degree preferred and familiarity with automated test stations. 3 years related experience. Ability to set-up test equipment for a variety of RF tests.
