  • Vice President of Human Resources

    MemorialCare Medical Centers, a non-profit hospital system located in Southern California is currently seeking a Vice President of Human Resources for Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children's Hospital located in Long Beach . The Vice President of Human Resources will provide strong and effective leadership, direction, and professional expertise in all areas of human resources management. This executive will be a strategic business partner and an integral member of the senior leadership team that establishes the strategic goals and objectives on behalf of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children's Hospital.

    This position serves as the leader and senior executive with respect to compliance with all Human Resources related topics including: positive employee relations, policies and procedures, labor codes, state and federal, labor relations, NLRB regulations, grievances, litigation and JCAHO standards. .

    Must be a hands-on professional with strong creative and conceptual skills, a proven track record in the management of complex Human Resources issues in a changing environment, and exhibit a strong sense of urgency in exceeding company goals and objectives. Professional expertise in leading the development and implementation of effective, world-class programs in all key areas of human resources management, including organizational and cultural development, compensation and benefits, and talent management programs required.

    10 plus years of increasingly responsible levels of broad-based human resources experience. An undergraduate degree is required for this position, and an advanced degree will be considered an important asset.
