Overview:
Bloomingdale's is seeking a highly creative individual to join our Visual team . As a Visual Merchandiser, you help create the customer's first impression of Bloomingdale's. Your responsibilities will include setting up the floor displays, cosmetic displays and mannequin presentation to tell a "merchandise story", reflect a trend or simply entice the customer to buy. If you have a natural finesse for color, balance and composition, we would really like to meet you.
Key Accountabilities:

• Producing novel and unique concepts for merchandise presentation
• Producing quality work in a consistent, timely and organized manner
• Completing projects on time and being responsible for the project from start to finish
• Understanding and upholding Bloomingdale's high standards of presentation as they apply to merchandising the selling floor
• Housekeeping - Caring for department's tools, supplies, workshop and merchandise
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Working in a safe manner with minimum disruption to the selling process

Skills Summary:

• Fashion display background - Men's Experience Preferred
• Creative and have strong experience in retail merchandising in ready-to-wear or home
• Related experience in retail, design or fashion is desirable
• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive self-starter
• Flexibility with schedule, dependent upon business needs
