Java Developer - Senior Level: Team-One Employment Specialists, LLC

Senior Java Developer positions available now! Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain security clearance. Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer/ Technical Lead with a proven background in delivering software solutions and driving software architectures from the ground up. The Technical Lead will work with Architects, Product Managers and Professional Services to employ proven methodologies in driving software development and implementation. The technical savvy individual will have had extensive hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE technologies and a drive to provide innovative, multi-tiered, enterprise classed software solutions. The candidate will be involved throughout all stages of software development – research, analysis, planning, team-building and leadership, coding, and integration of custom implementation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience working delivering on against aggressive timelines and project schedules. This person will work closely with product managers, architects, developers, QA, senior management and clients.

We are looking for individuals with architecture and hands-on development expertise in one or more of the following areas:

1. Distributed Content Store:

Content Management Systems (CMS) technologies and standards; Distributed store synchronization; Apache Jackrabbit, JSR-170, or commercial CMS implementations; CMS integration into one of a kind business processes beyond website publishing; data versioning and version-management; content differencing, merge/reconciliation and associated conflict-mitigation scenarios; pluggable back-end/persistence layer implementations, constrained resource deployments and performance optimization (storage footprint, cpu/network bandwidth)

2. Applications-Enabling Frameworks:

Services-stack , application frameworks and (large client base) APIs; Ability to independently synthesize stable software requirements from less stable notional system use-case definitions; Specification and development of one of a kind systems and foundational product-line baselines; SOA and ESB concepts and practices; Coherence/integration of distributed asynchronous business workflows, and inter-application communication and synchronization techniques; High-performance/concurrency solutions; Ability to integrate with best of breed open-source components and systems;

Requirements:

• 10 years of software development and integration experience.
• 5 years experience developing Java-based, enterprise-class applications.
• Expert knowledge of Java EE technologies , including Servlets, JMS, JDBC, Transactions and of at least one compatible Application Server.
• A solid working knowledge with the Java 5+ concurrency libraries and of NIO
• A solidworking knowledge of Web Services: SOAP, XML, WSDL, and schema/xsd design.,
• A solid knowledge of SQL and experience with one or more Java persistence frameworks.
• Experience with formal requirements gathering and working closely with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present technical ideas.
• Experience working with product managers and architects to develop new solutions.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other science-related degree.

Nice to have:

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or other science-related degree.

· Experience with distributed scalable database technologies; experience with data synchronization techniques and technologies (E,.g: SyncML) in heterogeneous data-store environments.

· Embedded real-time software development experience.

· linux/unix power user.

· Experience using the MVC pattern with Struts, JSF or Swing.

• Experience with RUP or other formal process-based software development Methodology and process artifacts such as UML and class diagrams.
