Responsible for the overall operation and quality function of the Dietary Department. Responsible for managing (i.e., staffing, scheduling, interviewing, hiring, coaching, correcting, training, evaluating, ordering food and supplies, budgets, L&I issues, etc.) the Dietary Department. Responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving payroll information to ensure that employees receive accurate pay. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and terminating (with approval) employees and making sure the respective paperwork is completed thoroughly and efficiently. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable department and/or organization policies and procedures. Required to supervise and direct staff in a line supervisory position and assist in day-to-day management and people building.. Responsible for creating an environment that allows employees to express their work-related concerns. May order supplies, stock supplies and inventory throughout the campus. Responsible for training new employees and helping monitor their performance.

Must have Culinary Arts Degree from a regionally accredited instiution and two year supervisory experience. Proficient in use of computer and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have valid Washington State Drivers License. Must be able to Pass Washington State Background Check.
