 Sony PlayStation®: Brand Alliance Specialist Foster City, California Responsibilities:Brand Alliance Specialist is the day to day contact and executer for brand alliance programs identified by Senior Director, Senior Manager of Marketing Alliances and Brand Alliance Managers. - Day to day contact for all brand solicitation with SCEA to include the collection of, analysis of, program submitted by key partners (agencies and clients). This position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: - Day to day management of the execution and overall relationships with brand partners.
- Organizing and analyzing the brand alliance/ partnerships/ requests. - Collecting, organizing and sending assets from selected brand partners and internally that are required to execute the programs on a timely basis. - Organizing and securing approvals for PlayStation® placement within the brand partners and vise versa. - Compiling project status reports, and valuation reports for brand alliances and partnerships. - Compiling screen shoots, media reports and other documentation that insures PlayStation® received the required marketing exposure in exchange for the use of our marks and intellectual property. - Managing and insuring completion of all legal approvals for brand alliances, loan agreements and use of marks.
- Team point person on all legal conversations related to brand NDA for the department, which includes creating and tracking to completion all NDA.
- Works with Sr Director and brand alliance staff to facilitate and execute all approved programming.
- Works with SR. Director to manage GWP and promotional bundles for product and services from key brand partners.
- Supports the Program Marketing Manager on FGR, MET design and MET scheduling requirements where brands are have been cleared to be integrated.
- Execute general administrative functions including filing, organization, archiving, creating spreadsheets & briefs, updating documents, generating legal documents, and shipping of materials related to brand partnerships.
- Provide back-up support to department on additional projects and operations.
Requirements: - Proficient at using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Lotus Notes and Internet applications.
- Excellent communication and organization skills. Must be articulate, remain professional in a high-pressure environment, and work well with others. Clear and concise email communication is also very important.
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing partnerships; and promotion strategies and tactics, media experience a plus.
- Strong web skills to include internet search, html knowledge, and knowledge within blog and social networking vertical.
- College course or real life experience as an analyst of programs so they can effectively support the evaluation of brands and solicitation of new partner marketing opportunities.
- Motivated, organized, self-starter who can react effectively and professionally to situations that require quick response or turnaround.
- Ability to interact professionally within the department as well as across multiple groups. Maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information.
