| | Automation Specialist | Minimum Requirements : All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 1 year related experience. OR ·Associate degree and 4 years related experience. OR ·High school or equivalent education and 8 years related experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be competent in developing, analyzing, and modifying complex PLC programming code and related human-machine interface (HMI) graphic displays. -Experience in commissioning, upgrading and maintenance of control system and PLC multi-node networked system architectures is also required. -Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.
Desired Qualifications: ·Experience in Server based HMI/Controls Systems. ·Strong background in process controls. ·Experience at a toxic or hazardous work site. ·Prior experience at a Dept. of Defense or Dept. of Energy site and/or with a Dept. of Defense or Dept. of Energy program.

The Global Security Group is seeking an Automation Specialist for the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant project located in Pueblo, Colorado. Must be a US or Naturalized citizen.
Typical Responsibilities include:
Program Distributed Control Systems, utilizing logic diagrams, creating HMI screen, and providing start-up/maintenance support. ·Assist responsible Startup Engineers with startup, checkout and troubleshooting of their respective process systems ·Monitor and maintain Control System hardware and Data communication systems ·Maintain Control System Software Temporary and Permanent change tracking system ·Full responsibility for the conditions of the control system. This will be partially accomplished by monitoring system maintenance and ensuring all critical preventative maintenance is scheduled and conducted with as minimal impact on production as possible; further, by monitoring operational reports and operational observations to assure optimum operational performance of the control system. ·Ensure Software Configuration Control is maintained in accordance to current procedures.
