CMS Communications Inc. of Chesterfield, Missouri is looking to grow our sales staff. This is an inside sales position based out of our Chesterfield home office. CMS Communications is a leading supplier of telecommunications and data equipment to businesses across the country. Our core products are business telephones, headsets, conference equipment, data equipment, and networking equipment. CMS is a stable company that has been in business for over 25 years. As an account representative you will be responsible for contacting Telecommunications managers of approximately 1000 companies. These will be your companies to work with and build relationships with. Your goal is to develop a relationship with the manager, so when they have a need for telecom or data equipment, you will be the person they work with. Typically managers will have a need for equipment when the company is growing and hiring, when they are upgrading to newer equipment, or when there is something broken and they need repairs. The goal is to develop a long term business relationship with that company, and work with them on an ongoing basis. CMS Communications is a great place to work. We have a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere (very non corporate). Some of the extra benefits of working at CMS are: Casual dress, company baseball tickets and hockey tickets which we give to employees, company profit sharing if the company makes its goal for the year, and no travel involved, all inside sales from our Chesterfield office. Some of the more traditional benefits include 401K, health plan, dental plan, 2 weeks vacation, and a personal day. First year account managers get a base salary of $22,500 per year. Every month there is a sales goal, that if met will net you an extra $1,200 bonus. Typical first year income is $30,000 to $35,000. Longer range, income potential is quite high. Last year our top 3 salespeople all made over $90,000.
