AseraCare Hospice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director for our growing hospice agency in Allentown, PA. This position oversees the clinical and administrative operations of the agencies. The qualified candidate will possess 3 to 5 years hospice/home health management experience. Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports. Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience. Must have knowledge of the healthcare industry including state and federal regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing the highest degree of quality healthcare are essential.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to function as the Hospice Administrator
    • Completion of Bachelors Degree or appropriate education to meet State licensure requirements, and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
    • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ business or clinical management experience, preferably in hospice or related field
  • Must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing and cash collections, reading and interpreting financial reports
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience
  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
