Furmanite has one opening for a qualified Account Manager to join our Hawaii office in the Western Region.
JOB SUMMARY:
Account Managers sell a variety of industrial services to companies in the oil and power industries (Industrial Markets). The role requires prospecting of new clients as well as selling to existing clients and achieving specific sales quotas. Responsibilities are executed within a specific geographic region.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Identify new business opportunities and secure orders from customers in line with, or exceeding, company budgets and policies.
Visit or contacting existing client base for the purpose of selling products and services and ensuring all account receivables are maintained at 75 days or less.
Coordinate development of project plans including sourcing of internal staff, development and approval of project plan and management of plan to successful conclusion.
Manage special projects as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is desirable or ten years Industrial services sales experience.
Work Experience:
5 years minimum successful sales experience to refineries and/or power plants.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Experience selling pressure relief devices, field machining, general plant services.
Familiarity with maintenance planning and engineering.
Computer literate and capable of running engineering product programs.
Ability to travel as much as 30% depending on territory assignment.
Knowledge of local customer base a plus.
