EDUCATION-Other Executive Director of Human Resources a premier career technical school offering unique educational experiences to both youth and adults, is seeking a highly qualified professional, who will demonstrate leadership in this critical role. The Executive Director of Human Resources will be responsible for attracting, acquiring and retaining quality personnel that meet the organization's human resources needs. He/she will be required to administer district policy on evaluation and employment requirements, and align with the master agreement, the Butler Tech mission and administrative guidelines. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to effectively work collaboratively in a high energy, fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide leadership direction and oversight of the district's human resources function * Direct day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department * Establish and maintain open lines of communication with Senior Leaders, district administrators, staff, customers and stakeholders * Align & integrate the work of the dept. with the district's core systems QUALIFICATIONS: * Hold certification, licensure & registrations as required by the Ohio Department of Education & the Board of Education including but not limited to degrees, licensure in human resources, labor relations, or related field. SPHR certification desirable. * Education & experience required to successfully complete the assigned duties. * Experience w/supervisory responsibilities. * Experience in administering individual employee benefits. * Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively. * Analyze employee issues & develop effective solutions. * Establish & maintain effective working relationships with staff & stakeholders. * Coordinate licensure processes for faculty & staff. * Coordinate professional development for faculty & staff. * Excellent organizational & supervisory skills. * Computer expertise appropriate to the position. * Must pass criminal background check Start January 4, 2010. Salary based upon Board Policy, mid $80's to $110,000 range & benefits based upon Board Policy.
