Requirement generation, analysis, design, development, and testing of embedded DSP software applications for land mobile radio products. Will work independently to contribute to the completion of programs and projects. Interact with internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
BSEE with 6+ years experience or MSEE with 4+ years of experience

TI fixed point Assembly Language programming, C, MATLAB a plus

Digital Filters and sample rate conversion
Modulation and demodulation
Receivers
Encoders and decoders
Work with vocoders a plus
Experience in embedded software coding and debugging
Experience in integrating software in a multiprocessor system
P25 Communication systems
Experience in radio/ wireless systems a plus
Chips:
Experience with TI TMS320C54x and/ or C55x
Experience with TI OMAP 5910 a plus
Experience programming TI McBSP, DMA and MCSI peripherals
Experience interfacing with DAC and A/D peripherals
Experience in software development in a team environment
Experience in a structured software development (Requirements, design, review, code, code inspection, test)
Experience with a source control system such as Rational ClearCase
Other:
Experience and/or ability to work in Encryption/ decryption of voice and digital data
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to work well in a multi-processor software development team environment
