The Sterile Processing Technician works under general direction of the OR Supervisor. Responsible for decontamination and processing of all instruments used in the OR. Ensures that instrumentation and supplies are available for procedures. Responsible for logs and documentation of autoclaves and steris machine.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of experience in decontamination in hospital based operating room or central supply.
