 | Audio Engineer / A1 Job Description:
Responsibilities NBC Universal's Studio Operations is looking for an Audio Engineer to support MSNBC. This is a great opportunity to work with the best in the business in a live 24/7 news environment.
Mix multiple audio sources (studio host and guest microphones, satellite remotes, music, clips etc.) and engage appropriate auxiliary feeds and multiple IFB mix minus' for fast paced live programs.
Coordinate and operate audio/communications needs for remote sources with the control room Tech Manager, and studio mics and IFBs with the studio floor A2 for program audio integration.
Maintain AZ Edit software application for IFB/PL and RTS intercom systems in order to provide custom audio feeds for program talent, and staff communications for local and remote production. Signature: ~HJ~~CB~ Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience using audio consoles and intercom systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a live news and/or sports production control room environment.
Minimum 1 year prior experience mixing live shows is required.
Must be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
