Position Title: Radiologic Technologist I, II or III #09-105

Department:Diagnostic Imaging
Position Description: The Radiologic Technologist operates Radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body under the supervision of a Radiologist. Essential functions include positioning, adjusting, and operating the radiographic/fluoroscopic, mammography, bone density, and CT scan equipment. Additional functions include putting away supplies and stocking the rooms.

Status:Regular Per DiemShift:Variable
Shift Time Schedule:Availability to work all shifts required.Average Weekly Hours:8 hrs/wk
Days:On-call as needed, weekends as needed
Salary Range:Minimum:$20.71Midpoint:Maximum:$24.55
The above wage range reflects the minimum and maximum hiring range for this position.

Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent.
Experience:Prior experience preferred but not required.
Special Skills:The Radiologic Technologist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Must be able to assess and interpret data about the patients status in order to identify each patients age specific needs and provide the care needed by the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient group.
License Required:Registered or Registry eligible in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Vermont.
