IT Sales Engineer
Established, growing IT service organization is currently seeking a motivated/ experienced sales engineer to support our sales team. Our company delivers a wide range of professional IT services and network technologies (data/ video/voice) to a growing base of customers in the SMB and public markets. Our SE position supports the sales team and builds customer relationships by providing technical expertise and engineering functions. Position requirements include: min.5 years experience in IT infrastructure products and data networking; a proven track record in a B2B sales; prior experience selling, installing and architecting LAN/WAN network hardware; ability to present, demonstrate and explain technical solutions to potential buyers; knowledge of Microsoft OS provisioning and maintenance, Intel-based servers and desktops, storage and back-up solutions. Should understand IP-based networking appliances and operations including LAN switching, WAN, Internet routers, firewalls, anti-virus and other security solutions. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and credentials. This position, based in Charlottesville, supports the sales staff and customers both in the office and in the field throughout the state.
