Position Summary:
This is a permanent position at The Clorox Company in Oakland.

As the Employee Relations (ER)/Talent Mgmt Consultant you will serve as a critical partner to the HR Client Manager in supporting the People Strategy for specific functional group(s) assigned. Your primary responsibility will be to manage ER cases, providing sound counsel and ensuring compliance with applicable corporate policies and external laws. You will also lead or participate in the design and implementation of HR programs that further align the functional People Strategy with the business strategy. **This is intended to be a developmental role within the HR function. After mastering this area of expertise, incumbents may have an opportunity to pursue other career growth opportunities within the HR function.

Required Qualifications:

BS/BA degree.

Ideally 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably with Employee Relations, consulting, or generalist capacity.

Excellent critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills.

Ability to multitask with an attention to detail.

Superior project management skills.

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with management and all levels.

Strong consulting skills (i.e., influencing, collaboration, contracting and responsiveness).

Understanding of federal and state employment laws
