Position Description: As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for Inventory Planning and Analysis; Supply Chain Management Analyst; Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Analysis. You will also: • Act as the Finance liaison with the supply chain management teams for issues relating to inventory planning and fulfillment – to align forecasted demand with supply throughout the product lifecycle • Work with Global Planning and Business Units to drive wafer starts alignment of fab-out schedules with forecasted demand. • Team with Business Units and Sales Operations (Demand Planning), to manage the latest product life cycles and supply needs by channel. • Provide inventory reporting and analysis for various level of management • Lead development and implementation of Demand Planning system and Supply Chain Management system • Provide balance sheet and cash flow analysis and drive corrective actions. You will: • Create consolidate and publish monthly inventory report including Marvell direct and distributors' inventory. Unbundle distributors' kit inventory into part level details. Improve inventory reporting and analysis (age, inventory stores, stages, etc). • Analyze 3PL inventory transactions to better gauge booking/backlog trend for storage business. • Lead and co-ordinate inventory reserve analysis by working closely with cost accounting and BU finance. Create quarterly inventory reserve report at part level details. Play a major role in reserve process improvement. • Analyze monthly supply and demand positions highlighting risks. Attend weekly Global Planning Wafer Starts meeting and work with Global Planning and BU Marketing to ensure we start the right number of wafers. Work with Singapore Purchasing and assess committed open Pos' impact on supply side. • Analyze memory components supply and demand for multi chip modules (MCMs). Highlight supply issues. • Prepare monthly inventory package for VP of Financial Planning to present at E-Staff Meeting. • Analyze inventory turns/days of inventory and benchmark against competition. • Assist in period cost analysis on inventory related accounts (standard cost change, cycle count, scrap, reserve, etc). • Work closely with Operations and Global Planning on improving overall inventory management process. Explore modeling for inventory planning and forecasts. • Work with IT on creating transaction reports by inventory stores. Create monthly/quarterly inventory reports on Scraps and RMAs. • Actively work with cost accounting, operations and BU to improve cost forecast systems with simulation capabilities to determine standards change P & L impact. • Assist quarterly close. Assist operational support and analysis. • Ad hoc analysis/projects. Qualifications: Functional/Technical Skills • Must have strong understanding of material planning, forecasting, replenishment and supply chain concepts. • Experience with ERP and supply chain systems. • Proficiency in MS Office products. • Must have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, initiate actions, and make effective decisions. • Must have great people skills and communications skills and ability to interact with cross functional teams. • Customer focused by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with Sales Operations and Marketing, Fulfillment, Production Procurement, Planning and Finance and others to ensure smooth operations and the correct flow of product to all sales channels. • 5 -7 years experience in supply chain management as an inventory manager, replenishment manager, planner or similar role. • Prefer semiconductor product knowledge. • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four year college / university or equivalent work experience. • Have strong system skills including Microsoft Access query and Excel modeling. • Have good understanding of accounting concepts and ability to perform accounting reconciliation analysis. • Have analytical mindset with acute business judgment.
