We are currently seeking full time Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. The Credentialing Coordinator performs activities related to medical staff credentialing, including initial applications, reappointments, allied health professionals, temporary privileges, locum tenens and residents. Provides clerical and technical support to the Medical Staff Directors in meeting preparation and follow-up.

Qualified candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years credentialing experience in related acute care hospital field or physician office. Related may include medical records, billing, risk management and/or quality performance.

  • CPCS Certification preferred

  • Must possess good human relations skills

  • Must possess excellent clerical skills

  • Must possess ability to compose minutes and well written correspondence

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a broad range of professionals

  • Must be able to adapt to changing schedules, deadlines and demands, and heavy workload

  • Must possess knowledge in word processing, spreadsheet applications, data base systems and the Internet
