Job Title: COUNSELOR II
Description: Licensed Counselor
Location: SHC Carbondale
Responsibilities: Provides counseling and psychiatric assessment services for patients at SHS Clinics. The counselor will work closely with SHS primary care physicians, psychiatrists and other counseling and case management staff to coordinate mental health care. Participates in SHS integration of primary care and mental health services and the SHS behavioral health committee is expected. The counselor may be assigned to work at multiple SHS clinics within Jackson and Williamson counties.
Qualifications: Must hold an Illinois license as an LCPC, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist. Experience providing counseling to youth and families is preferred. Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills required. Must have good networking skills, and be highly motivated and energetic.
