Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports the implementation of management strategies, front/back end development support, data architectures, coding efforts oversight, quality assurance and other areas as/if appropriate.
• Responsible for consistently delivering technical excellence and efficiency, as well as assisting with the development of new business and on-going client relationships.
• Assists in the orientation/training of other technical personnel, as appropriate and has a role to play in the on-time, on-budget delivery of the technical implementation aspects of the program.
• Participation in team’s selection of platforms, technologies, tools, and architectures that meet the program objectives.
• Actively keeps the project manager informed regarding work progress, technical/technology aspects of program development, emerging issues and areas which may require program Manager attention.
• Responsible for building/developing BI reports and dashboards utilizing the Business Objects (BOBJ) XI R2 and 3.0 tool suite. This includes building from existing universes and may include creating new universes via BOBJ designer.
• The Engineer will assist the Functional Analyst in defining requirements scope for BI related development.
• Will Participate in BI related working groups/meetings supporting the PMO, or as directed from the client.
• Must be able to travel 25% of the time.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.), preferably in Computer Science.
• 5 to 10 years of related experience.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Knowledge of BOBJ XI R2 and 3.0, Xcelsius 2008, BOBJ Designer and Crystal Reports
• Have a comprehensive information technology, information architecture, web
• development and front-end and back-end integration background.
• Able to successfully lead and inspire clients as well as Amyx project personnel to consistently generate solid, proven technical solutions and/or implementations for new and existing clients.
• Ability to create and drive technology solutions and strategy across the client base and the corporation.
• Ability to promote technology sharing within the Operations Center(s) and across the company.
• Ability to develop and improve the technical talent and ensuring sufficient resources.
• Able to research and implement improvements in processes and technology.
• Provide technical foundation/foothold for future growth and competitiveness.
• Develop capabilities that positively affect the warfighter.
• Proven ability to create and implement technology strategy and solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal technology environment and the information technology life cycle.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving/analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to reprioritization as dictated by business need.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications, able to develop reports and communicate findings.
• Needs demonstrated ability to work independently under specified objectives, and meet deadlines.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
