We are currently seeking world class individuals for the positions of full-time and part-time World Class SECURITY OFFICERS in the San Jose , CA area.

Excellent job opportunity, $12.00-$14.00/hr, all shifts available, full-time and part-time, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, paid holidays, paid vacation, direct deposit, and incentive/recognition programs.

2. Must be committed to being part of a World Class Security Team.
3. Must be able to read, write and speak English with high proficiency for the purpose of providing excellent customer service and report writing.
4. Must be at least 18 years of age.
5. No criminal convictions.
6. High School Diploma or GED.
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record necessary for driving positions.
8. Complete the pre-employment drug screen.
9. Must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States .
10. Ability to communicate with all levels of Silver Shield Security employees and our clients with confidence.
11. Ability to work under stressful conditions, while maintaining quality relationships with fellow employees.
12. Ability to follow directions, make decisions, and solve problems with a strong desire to continually learn and improve.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a security presence and visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions by being alert and responsive.
Detect and report any/all suspicious activities.
Stay alert and watch for criminal acts or suspicious activity at the assigned post or near the proximity of the client site, which could be a threat to the facility, client or employees.
Report and communicate all incidents, accidents, medical emergencies to the appropriate people with a sense of urgency and in a timely manner.
Provide on site access control operation.
Perform walking patrols or vehicle and bike patrols of the client site where necessary.
Provide miscellaneous site services duties as requested by the client such as: safety and equipment inspections.
Provide world class, unique, problem solving, enthusiastic, and professional customer service.
Perform Emergency Response to: Medical emergencies, Bomb Threats, Alarms: Fire and Intrusion.
Observe and Report unsafe acts and environmental conditions.
Respect and enforce company and client policies, rules and regulations.
Courteously and professionally escort staff and visitors on the client's site.
Perform services as requested by the client and/or instructed in the Post Orders.
Perform job responsibilities at all times, in all weather conditions and during unpredictable crisis situations.
Must report to assigned position fully committed to completing shift assignment, including overtime, as requested.

Develop and maintain a reputation of confidence, trust and loyalty.
Report to work on time in a complete, clean uniform, shoes shined, alert and representing yourself as a World Class Security Officer.
