Customer Support Engineer: S & R Resources

This position is located in Columbus , IN.

We are seeking candidates to work in support, customer assistance, customer service roles for a client located in Columbus , IN. These candidates will handle incoming client calls pertaining to the use of and troubleshooting of diesel engines in transportation, construction, and power generation environments.

Knowledge or experience in the following in these areas is highly desirable:

• Repair and maintenance procedures for mechanical items.
• Gas, diesel or aircraft engine repair and/or maintenance.
• Experience as a mechanic, maintenance, service writer, or parts counter person.
• Customer service/support role/s.

Candidates must have a clean criminal background as well as pass a drug screen test, be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm.

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business or related field with a minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0 is highly preferred and may be required.

Salary range is between $14 and $16 per hour depending upon candidate's experience. This is a 24 hour operation. Although most jobs are 8-5 M-F, you must be willing to work outside of these hours if requested.
