DescriptionTo handle / ensure the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts; establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations; responsible for assembling project plans and team assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately; responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources; coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work being managed; follow rigorous SDLC (IT only) and project management best practices; comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes, as well as adhere to change control and problem management procedures
§ Manages one or more crossâ€'functional projects of medium to high complexity.
§ Consistently delivers projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations.
§ Strong ability to analyze business unit technology needs, dissecting complex problems and suggesting processâ€'oriented solutions.
§ Creates project plans and teamwork assignments, identifies resource needs, directs daily work efforts, and tracks key project milestones.
§ Strong ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports.
§ Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution.
§ May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.
§ Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final implementation across multiple business units / functional areas.
§ Performs human resource management responsibilities, e.g., hiring, performance management.
§ May manage and/or mentor project management staff.
Qualifications
· Minimum Bachelor's degree
· 8 - 10 yrs of project management experience
· Good communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to manage large projects
· Ability to coordinate with C-level executives
· IT product development and program experience
· Manage Project plans, timelines and resources
Ability to follow SDLC process
