POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of LAC DMH training and have passed a written examination on the provisions of the Lanterman-Petris Short (LPS) legislation. At reappointment, must provide evidence of re-certification of LPS designation and annual certificate of training on Patient's Rights (obtained from Behavioral Health Services)

Masters or doctor's degree from accredited Marriage and Family program and current LMFT license. Three years experience in a mental health setting following licensure required. Allied Health Privileges for 72 Hour Hold Privileges through NHMC Medical Staff
